Vapor-compression chiller smart system

General Introduction

Vapor-compression chiller smart system is a substitution for electrical panel of Vapor-compression chiller order circuit by which chiller capacity is used based on building cooling load. This need is recognized by installed sensors on chiller and also out of building. Capability of scheduling for the building, used part time, causes power consumption reduction in addition to reduction of compressors’ depreciation and heating welfare providing.

One of this system’s advantages is chiller fault detection that after installation of this system, the device repairman can see the possible faults on the control system monitor without technical considerations.

How is energy consumption saving achieved thanks to chiller smart system operation?

  • Smart control of circulatory cold water inside the building ( fancoils, … ) based on building requirement
  • Control of on and off time of compressors based on building requirement and as result, reduction of compressors operation time and not turning on in unnecessary situations.

Equipment and capabilities
  • Control of turning on way of compressors to reduce system’s initial start ampere.
  • Using air conditioning line pumps (fancoil and air conditioner pumps).
  • Using cooling tower line pumps and fans based on system requirement.
  • Time control based on weekdays for the building that are used part time and as result, reduction of consumption costs.
  • Preset up and acceleration of automatic turning off system for interrupted operations in buildings which are used part time.
  • Fault detection system to find out possible faults of the chiller and it causes unnecessary fault detection in time of being off, maintenance costs reduction and increase of supporting services.
  • According to fault detection, using substitutes in the time facing fault in the chiller to prevent chiller to be off.
  • Having system of operation data saving including temperature, equipment on and off states and giving required graphs and as result, analysis of device state and possible fault detection.
